The Thackersey Group historically has been connected to business, philanthropy & even the Freedom movement in India. Under the vision of its current management it has evolved from a traditional manufacturing group of Companies into a Dynamic Enterprise with a focussed exposure to real estate in & around Mumbai.

Our Founders
Sir Vithaldas Thackersey
Sir Vithaldas Damodar Thackersey, was born in 1873. He was well known in public life & was associated with several prestigous organisations. Knighted By the British Government in 1908 at the young age of 35, Sir Vithaldas, was also a member of the Bombay Legislative Council, the Imperial Legislative Council & of the Legislative Assembly. He was also Mayor of Bombay Municipal Corporation. His business successes, in addition to his own Empire include the Presidency of the Millowner's Association, & the Indian Merchants Chamber, member of the Bombay Port Trust & first Chairman of the Bank of Baroda.
KMD Thackersey
Born in 1909, Krishnaraj M. D. Thackersey was the Chairman of The Hindoostan Mills (1942 - 1978), Chairman of The Indian Manufacturing Company, Chairman of Crown Mills,
Chairman of Millowners Association, Mumbai, Chairman of Bombay Textile Research Association, Chairman of Indian Cotton Mills Federation & President of International Textile Manufacturers Federation.
He was a keen sportsman. He was also associated with several charitable trusts and religious and philanthropic organisations.

RAOUL THACKERSEY
Born in Mumbai in 1971, our Chairman Mr. Raoul Thackersey is a graduate from The University of Mumbai. He manages all the Group’s Companies & Business Interests.
He is a philanthropist who is associated with several private & public charitable trusts.
He also sits on the Boards & Managing Committees of some highly reputed Educational Institutions & Hospitals.
TANYA THACKERSEY
A recent graduate from Arts University Bournemouth, Tanya has joined as Executive Director in 2021. She is currently looking into sales, property management & CSR projects .
